Australia has published a new booklet to help Cambodia leverage its Free Trade Agreements —scan the QR code to find out more! Cambodia and Unlocking Global Markets by Leveraging Free Trade Agreements was launched by the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) and the ក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម Ministry of Commerce. The booklet has up-to-date and easy to understand information on Cambodia’s bilateral and regional free trade agreements.
These include the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA) and many more. The booklet is designed to help agri-food enterprises, producers, exporters and business associations to access market diversification opportunities and enjoy the benefits of FTAs. CAPRED is Australia’s AUD 87 million, flagship economic development program in Cambodia.
CAPRED aims to support Cambodia to leverage its FTAs, prepare for the Least Developed Country graduation, and promote inclusive trade and investment policies and practices. Gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI) and climate change are central to the program’s implementation.
