Australia is responding by supporting the installation of solar-powered irrigation systems for coffee farmers in Mondulkiri. This climate-smart technology reduces the need for diesel, lowering farming costs and improving yields.
Coffee farmer Ya Amnas has said the new solar irrigation system will help her water her coffee trees whenever needed, making her farming more efficient and sustainable.
With practical solutions, like climate-resilient irrigation, Australia is improving food and energy security and supporting livelihoods for rural communities.
