Australia’s Minister for International Development, Dr Anne Aly, visited Kirirom Food Production KFP Co., Ltd. (KFP) last week to see how Australian support is helping Cambodian agribusinesses grow, create jobs and reach international markets.

KFP is Cambodia’s leading woman-led agrifood exporter, working with predominantly female contract farmers and employing a majority women workforce.  Australia is supporting KFP to expand production, diversify products and strengthen export readiness.

During the visit, Minister Aly met with workers and farmers to hear firsthand how agribusiness is creating new economic opportunities, supporting rural livelihoods and increasing opportunities for women.

Australia is proud to partner with Cambodian businesses that are driving inclusive economic growth, strengthening food systems and creating opportunities for communities to thrive.
