Australia and Cambodia celebrated growing trade ties between our two countries, as Cambodian business Royal Trust Trading Co., Ltd. (RTT) officially launched its first shipment of cashews and dried fruit to Australia. 

Today, Ambassador Yip joined RTT to send off the a 12-tonne shipment to Australia of Cambodian dried mangoes, cashew nuts, banana chips, dried jackfruit and taro chips. And this is just the beginning — more shipments are on the way!  🚢 

This success was made possible with help from Australia through CAPRED. Through CAPRED, Australia helps Cambodian agri-businesses become export read and identify and connect to new, high-value markets like Australia. We are also supporting Cambodian producers to process Cambodian products in-country, increasing incomes, creating more jobs and generating more value for the nation. All of this helps to build strong and resilient growth in Cambodia.
